Ta Wei Huang was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1988. His practice is rooted in painting and extends into animation, moving image, and installation to see everyday things in a different light. His work has long developed through processes of looking and making. Through layering, cutting, deleting, and reassembling images, he continues to consider how we see and how the frameworks through which we see are formed.
黃大維，1988 年生於台北，台灣視覺藝術家。創作以繪畫作為思考的原點，也透過動畫、影像與裝置等不同媒材，重新觀看日常生活中的人事物。作品長期從過程與製作出發，透過圖像的堆疊、切割、穿透、刪除與重新組合，持續思考我們如何觀看，以及觀看的框架如何形成。
